Overview

I serve as the captain and primary setter for the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) men's volleyball team. As the setter and tactical mastermind, I coordinate plays, call the offense, and build the team's in-game strategy.

Highlights

  • Team captain since 2024 — responsible for training plans and match-day leadership.
  • Primary setter and play-caller — I design offensive schemes and adapt strategies in real time.
  • Led the team to the first trophy in AURAK volleyball history.

Engineering & Leadership

Being a setter requires systems thinking, precise timing, and rapid decision-making — the same skills I apply in engineering. Planning plays, analyzing opponents, and optimizing team performance directly parallel how I design and debug embedded systems and low-level software.
